Jonathan is Ryan’s best friend, who else can Ryan speak to throughout the ravages of time? He has snow-white hair, slate-blue eyes that can turn red with bloodlust, and pale skin. He doesn’t feed on fresh human blood; rather freeze-packed blood that Ryan purchases from the local blood bank (prefers AB+). He dresses in casual attire while working at Kensei, but wears the Heroes Hideout uniform while working at his part-time job there. He currently resides in the freezer compartment in Kensei, coming out only at night or when either restaurant is in need of more help. Sunshine does not kill him but saps his energy as if he has low blood sugar. Garlic, crosses, and running water do nothing to him. Holy water burns him and stabbing through the heart kills him.

Weapons: Doesn’t generally use them but wields: Dual holy Colt Python .357 Magnum revolvers. Looks like normal ones except with a cross along the side of the exit of the gun.

Personality: Fun-loving, but not so careless as to let people come in and cause trouble. Can be flirty if he’s hungry enough.

Rachel “Ratchet” Kingswallow

Race: Half-Elf

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Occupation: Mechanic/Waitress

Ratchet is a master of machines. She is obsessed with cars specifically. Give her anything mechanic and she can take it apart and put it back together again, only better, stronger and faster thanks to a strange arcane ability attributing to her eldritch heritage. Currently resides in the garage/hangar area of the Rabbit Hole. There, she fantasizes about two things, boys and cars. She wears a white shirt, blue, stained overalls, a hat with a Ford insignia on the front and black boots, while working at Kensei, she wears the uniform. Being the youngest of the group, she feels looked down upon, but in reality, Ryan respects her very much and gives her new car parts to use. She’s currently working on renovating a Ford Mustang she found while digging around the junkyard. She’s hoping that by integrating the modern components to accept arcane magic, the car can fly, swim, turn invisible and do other stuff that might be useful to Ryan. She does freelance work for various people, working part-time at Tyre-Tracks (which is stressful to her when the karts she helped build get destroyed), and other things to help rake in money for the Mustang.

Weapons: Uses a monkey wrench to defend herself.

Personality: Tomboyish and a little rude. Around especially cute boys, she acts a little flirty. Speaks with a Brooklyn accent.

“Madd” Carbuncle

Race: Human

Age: 82

Occupation: Electrician/Techie/Artificer

Not much is known about Kensei’s resident “Evil Genius” other than this: he has a thing for artifacts. He likes anything old and magic and spends most of his time making techy or arcane stuff. Ryan picked him up ten years ago when he saw he can create modern arcane artifacts. Ask him his name and he’ll just say “Carbuncle,” but everyone at Kensei calls him Madd. He spends his time in the Rabbit Hole’s hallways, or inventing stuff in his little corner of the hole. He speaks many wise things, a lot of which don’t make sense, but if you need advice, he’s your guy.

Weapons: Invented a strange item called by the Kensei circle: “The Cube.” It is a small black cube with a single button on the top. When the button is pushed, anything can happen, just pray that that doesn’t happen.

Personality: Can be defined by one word: Crazy. Is often recluse and laughs to himself. When you talk to him, he may spout something random. Only says relevant stuff around Ryan and those he likes and trusts.
